Chaque objectif de la série M comprend un véritable système d'objectif intelligent (ILS). L'ILS reconnaît et calibre automatiquement un objectif lorsqu'il est installé. Le codage basé sur le moteur pas à pas assure que la dérive du moteur ne se produit pas, comme cela se produit généralement avec les moteurs à codage CC, permettant un rappel précis et répétable de toutes les positions de décalage, de zoom et de mise au point.

Lorsqu'il est utilisé avec les produits HD/WU de la série M de Christie, cet objectif fixe ILS a un rapport de projection de 1.1:1. S'il est utilisé avec un produit SXGA de la série M + de Christie, l'objectif fixe ILS fournira un rapport de projection de 1.2:1.
